Yes, when you choose an online analysis. In the iPhone app, Live AI sends the prepared photo, your profile answers and, when available, derived color measurements through Tonebook's Supabase service to OpenAI. A prepared photo is not guaranteed to contain only a face crop. The browser analyzer separately resizes your selected image and sends it through Tonebook's Vercel endpoint to OpenAI. The browser quiz does not require a photo. See the Privacy Policy for processing and provider-retention details.
Tonebook does not offer a photo-training program or a training-data toggle. OpenAI's API data policy states that API inputs are not used for model training by default. That is separate from provider retention for safety and abuse monitoring; it does not mean every uploaded image is immediately deleted everywhere.
