Outfit Recall

Effective September 28, 2026

Privacy

Outfit Recall is operated by Tyrian Horton under Sparkwell Studios. This policy describes the local journal app and these support pages.

What stays on your device

The app stores the photos you select, outfit names, notes, tags, wear dates, plans, boards and saved searches in its local app storage. It does not require an account and does not upload your journal to a developer photo server. There are no advertising or analytics SDKs in the iOS app.

Photos and camera

The photo picker gives the app the items you choose. The camera is optional and used to take outfit photos when you grant permission. The journal copies selected images into its own storage. Original image bytes may retain embedded metadata, including location; full archives may include that information.

Optional system features

The share extension copies only the photos you select into an on-device shared inbox. Open the journal to review them before creating looks; no wear date is assumed. The app and its extensions use shared local storage. Widget photos are off until you choose to enable them, and enabling them requires turning off app lock. A widget can expose personal content on the Home Screen. Optional reminders use local notifications after you grant permission. Shortcuts can open journal screens or stage a photo for review; searches run inside the app and do not return private journal text to Siri. Device authentication protects access when app lock is enabled.

Device backups and exports

Your operating system may back up app data according to your device and iCloud backup settings. This is distinct from developer collection and from live cloud sync. Outfit Recall has no live cloud sync in this release. Exporting an archive creates a copy you control. Files, iCloud Drive or another destination you choose has its own privacy and security rules. Archives are not password-encrypted by the app; keep them private.

Sharing you choose

A single-photo share prepares a copy without embedded location or camera metadata; it excludes journal names, notes and wear history. Board contact sheets include the board name, look names, cover photos and planned dates in board order. They exclude notes and wear history and remove embedded photo metadata. Review the content before choosing a recipient. The recipient or sharing destination controls the resulting copy. This differs from a full archive, which preserves original image bytes and may include embedded metadata.

Authentication

The optional journal lock uses system device authentication. Outfit Recall does not receive or store biometric templates. App lock does not secure exported copies and is not a claim that the operating system never shows snapshots or notifications.

Optional Tonebook app

The color-guidance screen can open Tonebook's App Store page. Tonebook is separate and optional; opening that link does not transfer journal photos, notes, tags or wear history. Any online personal color analysis in Tonebook requires a separate suitable face selfie, Tonebook's own consent flow and eligible access. Some Tonebook features require payment.

Control and retention

You can edit look names, notes and tags, set a cover photo, and reorder saved photos. Deleting a look moves it to Recently Deleted; this release has no in-app permanent-erase control for deleted looks and their original photos. Recently Deleted retains records and original photos for recovery rather than automatically purging them. A full archive also includes those deleted records and photos, including any embedded image metadata. Deleting Outfit Recall can delete its local storage; exported files and system backups remain under the controls of the places you saved them. Export before changing or removing the app.

Support and website access

If you email support, we receive the message and attachments you choose to send and use them to answer your request. Do not include sensitive images unnecessarily. These pages include no analytics, advertising cookies, remote fonts or client-side tracking. The website hosting provider may process ordinary server access records such as IP address and request time.
