Email nestlingapp1@gmail.com with the app version, iPhone model, iOS version and steps that led to the issue. Do not send your photo archive or private outfit photographs unless you deliberately choose to share them. We do not need an archive for an initial support request.
How do I save a look?
Tap Add look, choose photos or use the camera, and save. Turn on the wear-date option only if you want to record wearing it. A reference photo can be saved without a wear event.
Why does a future date make a plan?
A future date describes intended use, not something already worn. It creates a planned item on a board. Mark it worn only after you actually wear it.
Can I use it without Tonebook?
Yes. Outfit Recall's journal, search, boards and archives work independently. Tonebook is a separate optional app with some paid features.
Where did my deleted look go?
Open Recently Deleted in Settings. Deleted looks keep their photographs and wear history for recovery; there is no automatic permanent erasure in this release.
How do I move to another phone?
Export a full archive before replacing your device. Save it somewhere you control, transfer it to the new phone and use Restore an archive. Read the archive guide. Device backup availability depends on your system settings; live iCloud sync is not included.
The journal will not open
Your current library should be kept when an opening error occurs. Close and reopen the app. Keep the original device and archive if available; contact support with the exact error before deleting the app. Deleting the app can remove local data.
How do I lock the journal?
Enable Require device authentication in Settings. Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode unlocks the journal when you return after backgrounding. This does not encrypt an exported archive or protect copies you save elsewhere.
